Module C_ Urban Systems introduces key methods of urban design research, focusing on mapping, spatial analysis, and observational fieldwork. Students will learn to critically examine the physical and social dimensions of urban space through visual and analytical tools. Emphasis is placed on understanding how cities are experienced and navigated by their users. Through practical exercises and case studies, the module encourages students to interpret and represent urban environments in ways that connect design thinking with lived experience, movement patterns, and public life.
